Very cool. Looking forward to seeing it. I've been making an axial one too. Was going to try your ferrite core method on mine soon. Keep up the great work!

Hey! For some reason I just saw this. I saw your videos a while ago, your axial motors are awesome! I'd love to chat on discord some time about designs for axials, and especially the best way to produce a magnetic core for one if you're ever interested.

THIS IS SOOOO AWESOME! I want to make a electric motor that is ultra silent.

have you tried building a "yildiz motor"?

I wonder why diamagnetic stators aren't preferred
@BenjaminMarshallScienceMan11 ай бұрын
I'm not an expert, but a cursory wikipedia reading says that diamagnetic effects are much weaker than other types of magnetism.

Hi ! We have to talk ! I want to give you an electromagnetic generator ...an ideea ! It can generate high power...around 100kw . You are the right man who can build the smaller version ...2kw ....1litre thermos like volume !

how'd you get started with all this electronics?
@BenjaminMarshallScienceMan2 жыл бұрын
I only picked electronics up a couple of years ago. I was unstimulated with my job in the military, and realized that I knew almost nothing about electronics. So I used it as an outlet for mental stimulation. The way I got into it was by buying some cheap component assortments on Amazon (eg. transistor kit, resistor kit, capacitor kit, diode kit, inductor kit, LED kit. All of these cost just a few dollars) and making basic circuits like logic gates, oscillators, boost converters etc. It's important to develope an understanding of what different components are used for. Once I knew the basics, I eventually bought microcontrollers and played with programming them.

@@BenjaminMarshallScienceMan thanks man. im an electrical engineeeing freshman and ur inspiring me to make my own diy projects, i just find all of your projects so damn cool man! i've been feeling turned off by engineering lately in favor for math and physics. i feel like i rediscovered why i liked engineering in the first place when i see your videos. i've only tried microcontroller programming before with an arduino so i'm going to try making my own basic circuits like you did.

nice work! is your goal purely to make things spin or are you aiming to become a servo wizard too?
@BenjaminMarshallScienceMan2 жыл бұрын
My goal is to build everything from scratch ._. On a serious note, I'm not too into servos but I've always thought it would be cool to build a stepper motor.
