You really expanded the "headroom" of those speakers, nor are they as "compressed" with their imaging.. I always thought these were some decent speakers, but were missing something that allowed them to achieve their full potential. And now I know, it's the crossover. lol! Great video, and kudos to the "Crossover Master". :)

Your crossover is better than the original for hi fidelity but a little more bass would be perfect I think, we'll done 👍

For larger bass, you need to recount the case and add a phase inverter or a passive radiator.

@@goodsound202 Silly me lol, I thought the original crossover provided a little more umph ( bass ) but it was perhaps my imagination as the upper mids and highs were just less pronounced.

Suddenly, it began: in the "STEREO Mode" the music sounds VERY BAD: opaque and dry! ! I have verified the equalization and it has not changed what I had already set. I insist, this is only in the "Stereo mode"; But in channels 3.1, with a center and placing the "surround mode" or "surround mode" or "EXT. STEREO" where the center speaker comes into play, "color" appears in the sound quality, but only in the center speaker, not so, in the main columns. Could it be that the CROSSOVER has been damaged by some volume peak? Any ideas??? Thank you!

It was hard to hear a difference between them because I think you A/B'd them side by side using 1 channel while comparing a stereo recording. What were the crossover points?

I think if you have more bass, it unbalances the sound. I found it perfect !!! much better than original.

Have you ever heard of soldering Flux paste? Without the gator clip you would have ruined every cap.
