Film Capacitor Polarity: Proper orientation of film capacitors will make the amplifier much less susceptible to outside noise, including hum, interference from fluorescent lighting, and tendency towards oscillations or frequency-response peaks and dips due to unwanted feedback from nearby signals within the amplifier, which can affect the tone of the amplifier (and is the reason why some people claim the amp sounds different if the caps are oriented in the opposite way - if there is no accidental coupling, there will be no tonal difference, but there will still be a noise benefit gained from orienting the caps the correct way).

In general film capacitors are not polarized. In the kits that are sold for these they use non polarized capacitors.

Can I use with SEAS P14RCY and Phillips 11600 T8? Any adjustment. I want around 3Khz-3.2Khz cut off.

@123Toid How do I figure out the center of the inductor? Your videos have been very helpful, but I could not tell in the video where the center point of each inductor is. I couldn't find additional information online. Does the center point really make a difference?

I am building an open box speaker with two 8in mid-bass drivers and three BG Neo3 tweeters. I have no clue about what each piece of a crossover network does so I can't plan anything. Including buying the parts. No videos for that either. I'm sure that if I look at this subject long enough I will eventually learn what I need to know. Eventually...

Thanks it's pretty helpful to know how to read it :) Do you have a video on how to build a crossover according to speakers I chose? (Not pre-prepared by specific speakers) I do not really know how to build and what to use, and will be excellent if you have a video on how to match speakers, this is the first thing, and also how to read the technical data of the speaker and the graphs, what to look for. It will be easy for me to order 2 that have already been assembled and simply connect, but where is the fun in it? lol This field is very interesting to me, I watched some of your videos and you have a lot of good knowledge :)

Diagram? Are you asking where can you get the diagram I have to make the crossover? This was a pre-existing crossover that was built by Paul Carmody to specifically use with certain speakers. If you do not use a pre-existing build, you will need to design your own diagram (aka schematic).

sir your sample of crossover for 2 way system, is compatible for how many watts of AMP. or how many watts is this crossover. is it ok if I connect both x2 8ohms in parallel that would = 4ohms in total..........twitter @100watts8ohms,, and woofer@500watts 8 ohms
