DIY No-Sew Baby Yoda Mouse Ears | The Child, The Mandalorian-Inspired

There are few things I love more than Baby Yoda (or as we should formally say "The Child") from The Mandalorian. I've never been a Star Wars person, but Baby Yoda now and forever has my heart! One thing I really wanted (that's lacking in official merch) is a pair of Baby Yoda Minnie Mouse ears! This is a fully no-sew DIY, and you can apply this technique to make any kind of fully customizeable ears that you want!

- 8 mm black mesh tubing | www.etsy.com/l...
General supplies needed:
- 2 super cute images of Baby Yoda
- 1" plastic headband
- Fabric for headband, back of ears, and bow
- Thin batting
- Hot glue gun (preferably dual temperature)
- E6000 glue
- 10 cm diameter circle template
- 10 mm black braid trim
- Double-sided tape

I’m currently making ears to start selling soon but I noticed that they fall off easily. They are simple 1in fabric headbands that a lot of sellers use and I cover it with the matching fabric related to the ear. Do you have any tips for keeping them from falling? I only make stuffed ears as well. Thank you!

You can find a lot of DIYs for ears like those online, I try to make my DIYs as unique as possible

You can find rubber teeth online to add to the inside of the headband, I always like adding them to ears I make

Thank you, this helps out so much! I've been trying to figure out how to make myself a pair of ears inspired by Disney's Toontown Online but wasn't sure how to go about it. This is a method I can use, I have a ton of old screenshots from the original game but I could also hop into Toontown Rewritten if I need a very specific shot I don't have. Now, I know how I can print it out & use it to customize my own themed after one of my favorite games. I've been coordinating what items to wear whenever I go to Disney World which is about a year in a half, give or take from now, depends on how the organization of travel plans go, & I've been wanting to find a way to incorporate many of my favorite Disney things into what I wear but a lot of my favorite stuff has very little merch available for it so I've been looking into making my own. I have like 1 official pin for the online game Toontown that was given out during 2006 Toonfest that I managed to find on ebay, those do not pop up often. So yeah, figuring out some stuff isn't easy but this makes it easier, I could use a couple of in game screenshots to be images for my ears.

So cute! I love baby Yoda. You may already know this trick, but you can use any smooth cotton in your printer if you lightly iron the wax side of butcher paper to the back side of it and trim it down to paper size. Works super smoothly. I then also heat set the image once dry with my iron. Thanks for your great videos.

Love this! I've been playing around with making my own mouse ears and since I dont have a sewing machine and I dont have any hand sewing skills I've been using hot glue. I never thought about doing the two sides separately then putting them together. May have to use this trick! Thanks Emily!
