DIY .OBDII Breakout Box Bench Connector. can i build it myself?

I decided to do this Breakout Box because the Price of such a one seemed exaggerated.
I couldn't believe that on a box that has: 16 banana jacks and 3 buttons and some used cable costs well over 100 euros.
This Project is done with minimal costs if you have things you reuse.

I’ve never worked with automotive stuff… but I do have my own small business and electronics laboratory. I do component level board repair for manufacturing and research clients. But I specialize in test equipment and metrology stuff… For other small labs and research. Also work on a ton of boards from manufacturing equipment like CNC machines and all kinds of other neat fun stuff. I really enjoy some of the videos. Definitely useful information for folks involved in electronics, regardless of whether it’s automotive related This project box is a great example and could be used 100 different ways in just about every part of electronics and diagnostic work. I’d love to see more troubleshooting videos, tools, test equipment, and faultfinding procedures/equipment.., Because that type of stuff is valuable for anyone working in electronics… Automotive related or not. Great channel!

Don't combine the grounds. Knowing different readings depending on wired or chasis ground can be very useful.

Check the godiag gt 100 breakout box friend much better quality its around 100 dollars at most good breakout box with several connectors.

Hello. Yes a 5A Fuse is not bad at all, but I will use this box always powered by the power supply. It has protection and that's why I haven't installed one but as you said it's welcome. 👍
