Hi, Loved the video ☺ Also, could you tell more about the glazing part on this air drying clay? Do we need to fire them later?
@mafaldacastro014 жыл бұрын
Hii! I highly doubt you would need to fire air drying clay, it might even damage the finished product. I’ve personally worked with clay for quite some time and when I glaze my pieces I use acrylic varnish/glaze and just let it air dry I hope this was helpful :))

Hi loved this video ! Could you give me some pointers on rolling the clay, i am using a acrylic rolling pin but i always end up with lots of ripples in it ?
@SocialCrafts4 жыл бұрын
Possibly putting too much pressure down when your rolling. Put really light pressure in your rolling pin and just go back and forth. Let me know if that helps... if it doesn’t maybe we can think of what else it might be!
@Angela-qv8pe4 жыл бұрын
@@SocialCrafts Thank you for your reply i will give that a go !

Does putting baking paper or maybe a cloth over it help?
@SocialCrafts4 жыл бұрын
@@venusalexa7367 possibly! Definitely worth a try. However if you are still pressing too hard with paper or cloth on top it can still turn out uneven and with ripples. If you are having trouble with the clay sticking to your rolling pin then def a cloth or paper would help.

Can we use alcohol inks with air dry clay? Is this clay food safe?
@SocialCrafts4 жыл бұрын
happylablady I don’t believe the clay is food safe. There might be a glaze or varnish you can put over them to make it so, but I haven’t looked into it. Also alcohol inks might work! I haven’t tried it. The package comes with a good amount of clay so you can experiment. If you try it, let me know how it goes!
