I have loved and admired your work for years. You really don't get the exposure you deserve. I hope you make a facebook page one day.

Love this owl! Thank you for another great tutorial. Some of your owls look so sad and that somehow makes them even more cute! I've been kind of binge watching your channel as I wait for my clay to be delivered. I played around a little with some cheap clay from Amazon, but now I'm learning to incorporate your techniques and it's helping a lot! I notice you always do the eyes the same way no matter what you are making... would it be possible to press like a black bead into the clay to make the pupil? Or would that just fall out when it dries?

So sorry for my very late reply, Amy. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. This clay as with most air-dry clays, will shrink when it dries. And it may crack around the rigid eyeballs. You would be better off doing glass eyes with polymer clay. I have a few tutorials on how to do glass eyes on my channel. Here is a link to one with a frog sculpt tutorial: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn7UcpWKfKeto8U/ Are you still sculpting? Where are you at in your artistic journey now. I would love to know. -Jake

How long does it take to dry

About a day or two. You can place Marblex clay in a warm oven for a half hours or so (no longer) and then the surface will become hard and you can finish if if you are impatient and don't want to wait. :-) Thanks so much for watching! Please subscribe to my channel and hit the bell icon so you can get notifications when I upload fresh content. Thanks so much for watching and happy holidays! -Jake
