The cottage cheese was to soften the oat crepe ,you let the " sandwich" to rest five minutes before eating it . Not big fan of avocado , is so dull 😒 but helps with the digestion . In fact all the ingredients of that sandwich or oat crepe on salmon and guacamole , call it as you like lol it would activate your stomach flora and later would do a great " pipes" cleansing for you 😁 The password booklet is impeccable , great idea . The covers design made me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for sharing .Much appreciated your generosity xx

Something I use in my own password keeper: the first page is for information about my router, my internet provider, and things like that - including the account number and tech support phone number, because if your internet is out, you won't be able to look up the tech support number online. Also your POP3 and SMTP settings if your internet uses them.

I thank the lovely algorithm for letting me stumble across your video. I know nothing about 'booksmithing' and was wondering why this video was so long. Ended up watching the whole thing! Love your book, it looks absolutely professional. The most I've ever done as far as making a book is stapling sheets of paper together! You've made me see that it's possible to do something very high quality. Good suggestion about the notes. Thank you for the entertaining and awesome video

"Oliver Twist Gruel Pancakes." Hahahhaha This looks AWESOME! Now I'm thinking a Booksmith Address Book would be cool and maybe have an old phone number like "Klondike 857" or something on the cover--in fountain pen, of course!

@@LedgerAndLace haha, party lines too. I saw a video of the old dial phone placed in front of teenagers, and they were asked to figure out what it was and how to use it. It was hilarious. They did eventually figure out it was a phone, but never did properly dial a number. But you wouldn't, would you? Unless someone showed you how to dial a number you wouldn't know how.
@recoveringsoul755

@@LedgerAndLace and I think each of those first few letters of the word corresponded to a number, like how the number 1 is ABC And we didn't dial area codes unless it was a long distance call. I remember seeing the business card for the dentist and it said dial Oxford followed by whatever numbers. We couldn't even remember 7 digits?

Last year I just found you, I do wish every time I watch you I had years ago. Anyway I came across the original password keepers which all my late teen family members wanted so present ideas for u guys! I love watching you and have purchased a fare few items. More importantly I am on alot if medication and have severely limited mobility but like to keep busy, your vids have really improved all of my works. I like to make my own thing but apply the techniques, not many can actually successfully teach the formula not just how to replicate but you do it brilliant and for someone like me that has no choice but to watch TV ect 24/7 due to pain and illness to find someone who is a pleasure to listen and never ever irritating or anything you deserve to know. Thank you you do more than you'll ever know x

Hi! I just finished making my book, and I learned so much! I will just say that when I printed out my images, the covers measured 4 1/8 by 8 3/4. I was able to make adjustments by trimming the top of the insert pages. Anyway, I love my new password keeper and look forward to making more books with you!

It's true. That's why my last password book was labeled "Aunt Ida's Lima Bean Recipes" 😅 I put my password book somewhere random, but I suppose any notebook left by a computer would be in danger from a creepy creeper!

Making 2 of these today to give as Father's Day gifts. I recently stayed at my parents' house for a few days to care for my mom while my dad was in the hospital and learned that only my dad knew where the passwords were kept - scribbled on a piece of junk mail at the bottom of a pile of books and papers! This gift will make for a MUCH better solution for both aging households and for us adult children who are stepping up to care for our elders. Thanks again for all that you do, Nik! You're a Queen to me!

Make some recipes and then bind them in a cookbook? Win, win! I initially got interested in the bookbinding because I'm making a family cookbook. My mother recently passed away and I have a bunch of her recipes plus both of my grandmothers. What I don't own, I've already scanned from my sisters. Then the seven of us added our own recipes. I've got around 300 pages. We're also giving them to a few nieces that are interested. Most aren't 😒

Hi Nik Following along I have just made my first book. Using basically your measurements but for A4, I made a gin tasting diary with a page template I created in InDesign. Of course, during the process I stuck the cover on upside-down, ripped the spine and had to reinforce it with clear packing tape, and threaded the pages using diagonal holes instead of aligned, but overall I'm pretty happy with the final result. And doubly happy that I have never done this before. . So than you for such a great easy-to-follow video!
