Oh my gosh it’s been awhile!! I can’t believe you’re on baby number 5 that is absolutely exciting! I am currently pregnant with baby number 2 and am hopefully going to have an all natural birth at home here in Michigan (possibly Grand Rapids at a birthing center if things don’t workout well) but I’ve been coming to your channel for old videos on your past home birthing experiences (I used to love them!) but I had no clue you were pregnant again. After ease is a must have ! I first heard about it from you I think and I have had it for my past 2 homebirths and it is totally essential!!! Those after birth cramps are no joke especially the more babies you have so I’m very thankful to know about after ease because it works amazing!!!!!

I haven't had one, but I think typically not for uncomplicated births. I think the midwives do the newborn health routine after initial bonding and come back for at least one visit days later

I know when I had my hospital birth I was given mesh underwear a peri bottle and dermaplast spray (didn’t care for the spray)

@@ThisMamasHouse Okay thank you! I've been hearing a lot of negative feedback on the things they provide at the hospital, besides the mesh underwear and peri bottle. I'm realizing I did a lot to prepare for him, but barely anything to prepare myself for after birth. I added a lot of things in my cart to just click & buy before I leave the hospital because of this video 😊 and I purchased both of the after birth pain management products you recommended in the breastfeeding set up video and here. I'm a natural products and essential oils person myself, I make my own stuff for myself, even my dogs lol and shockingly, never once crossed my mind about bringing some lavender during birth or making a calming one for baby, until watching your other video. One more thing, I also reformed my bassinet/pack and play/carrier/changing table set up (my pack and play is one of those 4 in 1 kind) to include things I need for myself to breastfeed and have easy access to in order to make it easier in the beginning. I won't have a nursery either, well in the beginning, due to us moving a week after he's supposed to come any day now, but I figured I'd probably be using my set up in the bedroom the first few months anyways. I say all this to say thank you for your videos, because I feel like I've gained more from your videos than all the others I watched during this time.

I never knew salt water could heal burns in minutes 😂😉 We are close friends with the scientist that figured it out. It’s okay to be ill informed.
