Nice bag, but a shame you use hot glue instead of sewing. It won't last long and I wouldn't trust it with my phone and credit cards if not sewing, but nice size and appearance 👍

@@hollymartin1780 I have been a seamstress for 15 years and have never had a problem sewing vinyl... the bigger issue usually is sticking to the machine and that can be solved easily enough with a bit of tissue paper top and bottom so it glides between feet... and clearly her machine handled sewing it fine in the first step

@@BrooklynneMichelle i think the only reason her machine handled it well was because of the oil she used. She also might have used the glue because she didn't want an invisible application.

Nice end result. Good idea using cheap materials. Would be nice if there were verbal instructions instead of a lot of pointing, though, and I'd worry how well it's gonna stay together stuck with hot glue.

Glue is fine for basting, but you have to stitch it down afterwards. I think there might be a good way to whipstitch the little divider in! That might be the hardest part. I love this design and tutorial! I might make it too, with an old purse from the thrift store.

I made this little bag...used black leather...however I stiched after gluing both with machine & by hand I used metal grommets where I attached the swivel hooks on strap.. Yes I stiched them to strap after gluing too

Do you need a special sewing machine to sew all compartments? I just feel that gluing and sewing would make a better quality bag.

you'd want a sewing machine that can handle thicker material. they're most likely hot gluing because they don't have one. in theory you could also hand spin the wheel on your sewing machine but it can be time consuming... there's also a high chance of breaking your needle

They said this was cheap.. But aside from that, the machine oil may be expensive for them. I'm a novice seamstress and could probably sew this up no problem.

Most sewing machines will be able to take this type of fabric but you do need a different needle and a different foot to make the job easier

You have a good channel, it is quite interesting, however I think it would be better if your projects were cooked instead of sticking with hot silicone. Because at all times I thought that there is nothing safe the case. Maybe I dare not put my phone inside something that is stuck with silicone. Anyway, it's interesting to take ideas. Greetings.

You mean hot glue right? because silicone is sturdy and is temperature resistant to the point where you probably need specialized equipment to melt it. They're radically different materials. Anyways, they probably used hot glue because it's non-toxic, easy to work with, and sets within minutes. Other glues like epoxies, silicones, cements, etc tend to be toxic, or have strong fumes, they can be difficult to use, or they might need clamping while curing, or they cure slowly.

Modelo super bacana p case de celular, no entanto, já q em algumas partes foi empregada costura em máquina por ser usado material sintético, todas as demais fases do porta celular tbm deveria ter sido feita da msm forma p q o acabamento final não ficasse comprometido. De qualquer forma, é uma boa ideia.

Задумка неплохая, но уже на половине видео заметно что вся конструкция будет очень толстой, сложно складывающейся из-за множества слоев кожзама + проклейка клеевым пистолетом. Круто бы сделать внутренность из плотной подкладочной ткани, пусть так же с клеевым пистолетом😊
