This tutorial is so thorough showing each step clearly. One of the best I have viewed. Thanks for posting this as I need to make one for a costume. Your quiver turned out great. Nice craftsmanship. Thanks again.

I just tried this and it worked! My quiver looks great and now I'm (mostly) ready for the next renaissance fair I go to. Thank you so much!

I love it. I'm going to do this for a LRRH costume where she's a wolf hunter!! I love archery so naturally I gravitated to it for this costume. But I want to make something simple and this speaks to me for sure. I have some cans in the house and all the supplies. Gonna transfer this chips into a bag so I can work on them. Also Dollar Tree has some vinyl material that would work perfectly on this project. Thanks for the tips!!

Nice! Really cheap and really durable, even moreso than quality quivers. Especially if you ducktape the hell out of it and use a ton of silcone glue. Awesome

I was going to do something similar using empty water bottles, but I found a 1 1/2 inch PVC pipe that is going to work great! 10 feet of drain pipe for $4, I could not beat that! Live the accent leather you use in the top and bottom!

This is great! My cast is doing The Hobbit, and we're going to be having bows and arrows. This quiver has the fantasy/medieval feels without costing way too much

Using this tutorial for a link cosplay. It's really helpful.. One problem though, the hot glue will not adhere to the belt for the shoulder strap.. Do you think superglue would work???
@broadwaymusicmaniac
@broadwaymusicmaniac 4 жыл бұрын
I had the same problem, RIP. Didn't try superglue, but maybe a lighter/thinner leather belt would work.

How did you attach the belt strap to the quiver ? I can’t really tell by the brief image. You said you made slits, but how lol.

I'm not trying to sound negative here because that was a really good tutorial on how to make a quiver but you're actually supposed to hold the quiver at the hip, not over the shoulder. It makes for a smoother motion in drawing the arrow and notching it to the bow.

How did you put the strap belt on? Just hot glue that on quiver? What about the medal part of the belt?

Hey, seeing he cut the other belt, he probably cut off the metal on the strap belt. It's likely he did hot glue the belt on.
