WoW awesome job the first van i painted was way back in the early 80s and i did in a small garage at the back of my house and wait for it i used an electric spray gun load of thiners but it came out really good and did alot of cars vans then my life change and it was the end of that but yes you've done yourself proud just as good or if not better than a paint shop .

@Ezrider3595 жыл бұрын
glad you are enjoying. im not much of a painter myself just good enough to get by, somewhat true for mechanics as well. spraying the paint is the part that intimidates people the most but its actually the easiest part and only part of the process i find enjoyable. its everything that comes before that witch will make or brake a paint job. painting a few mailboxes can generally get someone past the intimidation of spraying paint.

You can tell that isn't your first rodeo, looks great Imron it supposed to be a tough paint. That was an interesting version of "Green Onions" ( the first background music for the youngsters).
@Ezrider3594 жыл бұрын
It was my first semi paint job and first time using imron but iv painted a number of cars over the years.
@Ezrider3594 жыл бұрын
The version of green onions in this video was actually recorded by my dad using layered multi track recording so the entire song is actually only one person playing every part. I had forgotten I had used that song in this video. 👍

I love Imron paint. I send whole truck with 320 grit (dry send) ant it turn out amazing
@Ezrider3595 жыл бұрын
yeah imron you would probably be fine shooting over 320 dry its pretty thick sticky stuff. other automotive paints iv used 320 would probably have a pretty good chance of having some sanding scratches show threw. this was my first time ever using imron.

@Ezrider3594 жыл бұрын
A show quality paint job your going to cut and buff with or without a booth. You would probably be surprised just how good of a paint job you could do in a garage or workshop. It's a little less work with a booth but not by a lot

Looks good, Emron is a tough paint. Should last a long time.

It’s September 2020...it must’ve been a little chilly when you painted this Mack since you had heavier coveralls on. Great job. Do you like green paint? It’s not my favorite color, but it really looks good on your Mack. Did you even think about changing the color altogether or were you just trying to keep it original to the color code on the sticker? A lot of work, but worth it. Stay safe and continue to Take Pride in Your Ride. Oh YEAH!
