Do you see differents in handling car before this solution? And what about stiffness
@scantronsgarage Жыл бұрын
Not yet unfortunately. the car is still not on the road. Just had everything apart again for paint. the 1/8 thickness along with proper bracing seems to make it strong enough.

I love to see people building badass cars instead of a show car with air ride etc... (No hate on those im just bored cuz today is everything about the looks and not the performance) Keep it up it will be sick 😎

Looks good. Is it aerodynamically functional?
@rytisvitenas57843 жыл бұрын
Aerodynamicist here. It should be fairly functional, though its far from ideal. I'd recommend firstly to tape over any joins your have on the underside (so I think there are a few where the strakes meet the main understray. Also, I'd recommend covering that hole for differential/transmission. It will cause a big wake which in turn can lead to the diffuser stalling. Instead of having the hole, a removable undertray would be better. Smooth floor would help to significantly improve the diffuser's efficiency too.

Thanks! In theory it should be functional

Even with a small shop and limited tools. Nothing can stop a driven guy from gettin it done with a vision and drive! As an example... Allen Millyard out of England has a tiny TINY shop, yet produces amazing results. It’s guys like Scranton’s Garage and Millyard that inspires me! m.kzbin.infoabout
