Can’t wait to see the chair finished. I wonder if having a pattern drawn, and cut out would be easier? I am not sure since I never upholstered but I have heard when someone works on reupholstering the save the old fabric that they have taken off to use as a pattern.

I did keep the old fabric but because I have completely remodelled the chair it couldn't be used as a template. If I was just recovering, I agree that would be the way to go.
