You missed a washer... at the end of the “arm bracket” is that really the name of the part? There is a black washer that fits over the small pin on the end of the shaft. It’s a bit tricky to fit upside down but I got it on the 2nd try. This washer keeps the motor arm from rubbing on the mounting bracket for this assembly. I don’t believe you discovered this washer and it didn’t fly out. I doubt it just stayed in place during the removal. Thanks for posting.

Good video, man, but not a good thing to be "slapping those arm brackets" like that, cause the motors are easy to damage, and you have tiny wire sets, led bulbs, ect. I imagine you were doing that for effect, but these are expensive and intricate machines. Good job, though, dude....I was glad you showed that bit on the arm hinge, I was unaware you could or had to "prep it" like that.

I feel like such a maroon for not realizing I could get the springie thingie to balance in a pre-load state. Now if only I knew where those two leftover screws came from. I'm pretty disappointed, really. I successfully replaced a broken arm on an Air 2S, and it flies, but the gimbal, she is no more.

What is the “little part” you said you remove so that it slides in finally. That’s an important detail. Both my front arms fail to open full then brackets are installed, and I’ve tried setting bracket both directions

Does DJI sell replacement parts like that little bracket, or do you have to cannibalize dead drones?

I would of put a new arm bracket cover on, their pretty cheap and that area would look new again. That little warp end would bother me? That's just me....finicky, perfectionist....

Kinda off topic question. I have a mavic 2 pro and the motor on the gimbal are came unglued and now the whole assembly is connected by only 1 wire. Would I be ok just to glue the motor back into place?. Then follow it with a calibration?. I wasn't sure if it needed to be precisely mounted or not.

I send my drones for a fix worst experience ever they are terrible 2 weeks to tell me I already know the guy have a sad and poor communication unprofessional End up having the drone in the same conditions very upsetting dont fix your drone with this company
