DIY Reupholster Cat Tree

I have replaced the twine on my kitties’ tower a couple of times, and now the carpet is looking awful. I was thisclose to replacing the entire tower, but your video has inspired me. I love the fun pink fabric!! Thank you for making this video 😺

Getting ready to redo the top shelf on my boys tree and it turns out you have the same tree. I also removed that top shelf as it was just too wobbly. I looked up the replacement part online for the shelf I'm redoing and they want $21, so like you I'm going DIY. Enjoyed your video and your baby is precious.

I'm going to see if Joanne's or somebody has the pink Sherpa fabric that you used but I'm wondering how does it hold up to scratching? Does it hold up as well as regular carpeting material? You know how cats love to climb and scratch and play LOL

She loved it! I used about 2 yards of the fluffy pink sherpa fabric and a 1 1/2 of the cat themed decorative flannel I glued to the bottom of the wood/particleboard. Suggest getting a half yard more then you need if you would like more wiggle room just incase. Good luck and I hope your fur baby loves the freshening up! 💗 thank you for the kind comment! 😊

Thank you! My cat loves the soft fabric too~ It's pastel pink sherpa fabric. I picked mine up from Joann's Fabric. Usually there is fun unique sherpa fabric choices around the winter season. I know I've seen pretty and unique sherpa online aswell. =D

Honestly? I just yanked mine off. There was particles from that it's the carpet tearing or something, so I recommend wearing a mask for this part.
