Is there a particular reason to use wood filler (like flexibility?) or is „normal“ filler / spachtelmasse also ok?
@rainer_statistiker Жыл бұрын
Hi! I guess normal Spachtelmasse is also ok. I'm used to the material I show you in my videos, but other materials are also fine. What you shouldn't use is plaster ("Gips") because you would lose the flexibility of the road, that helps when storing it. Thank you for your comments! ☺️

Is there a video up for making the guardrails?
@rainer_statistiker3 жыл бұрын
No, there isn't. Mine are 3d printed. I underestimated the interest in the guardrails. If you're looking to buy one, search for 0 scale model railroad guardrails, they are perfect size.

Amazing! What is the filler you used at 0:3:12? I'm not familiar with it.
@rainer_statistiker4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 I use a german wood filler from the company 'molto' called 'Holz Feinspachtel'. I think it's similar to this: www.amazon.co.uk/Ronseal-RSLMPWFN100G-Multi-Purpose-Natural-Filler/dp/B001GU2BXM/ref=mp_s_a_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=wood+filler+ronseal&qid=1599773887&sprefix=wood+filler+ronse&sr=8-12#immersive-view_1599773956034 (as always, this is no paid advertising)

I like you work, though it's painful to me to see that model paint used on terrain . Very nice vid👍

Thank you! In my experience it's best to use the paints you are experienced with also for your terrain. And I love terrain 😉

Klasse Tutorial.
@rainer_statistiker3 жыл бұрын
Danke dir!

@rainer_statistiker4 жыл бұрын
Hallo, danke dir! Spur 0 (Null) suchst.

A waste of specialised miniature paint in my humble opinion. Why not use regular acrylic paint to do this kind of job? (the result you got is stunning nevertheless, well done!)
@rainer_statistiker4 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you for the 'stunning result'. In my tutotial I show you the way I made my road. Of course you may use whatever paints you like and you're familiar with.
