@@Vangabonders someone posted a full 360 rotisserie like this on r/vwbus a few weeks/months ago. While still fairly simple, a full ring just feels daunting. This will be a great reference for the community.

Hey Im trying to build this. Ive look between your screenshots and the pdf you shared but I dont see where it mentions the angles of the cuts. Can you point that out for me or list the angles of the cuts?

Have you rotated the rotisserie on all of its sides? It may be more than a one person job to rotate to the last position? Very cool and handy. Thanks for the great video!!
@Vangabonders Жыл бұрын
Indeed the further you go the harder it is to rotate, but nothing that two people can't handle pretty easily!
@timhouse47035 ай бұрын
I am going to be building your rotisserie soon, and I haven’t been able to get a clear image of the 5 sided plate (that attaches to the rear) is it possible to send me a clear copy of it. Thank you, I enjoy your posts. TH
@henrikbergman4055 Жыл бұрын
Awesome video. Went to order the material here, but realised that I wanted to be able to flip it both directions, so I would need to do the bolt on rear plate instead of welding. I'm not an engineer and I wonder if there's any risk of the 2*2" tubes being too weak when drilling. The original has 2*1".
@Vangabonders Жыл бұрын
Indeed in order to flip you would have to bolt. I don't think the 2x2 tubing would be a problem drilled but I am also no materials engineer. You can always go with the original 2x1 as its been shown to work just fine!
@henrikbergman4055 Жыл бұрын
@@Vangabonders Thanks. They don't have the 1*2" here, but I can probably find something to insert to reinforce it. My first structural build, so I am probably a bit overly cautious.
@Vangabonders Жыл бұрын
@@henrikbergman4055 it's not very heavy at all once you have everything stripped. I don't think you'll have a problem at all to be honest

I think I’m going to attempt to make a set of these too, thanks! Dumb question, but do these fit from both sides to rotate the bus in the other direction?
@Vangabonders Жыл бұрын
The front rotates as is, in order for the back to rotate you have to bolt it on rather than weld it like I did.
