My chihuahuas love these jello bones! They are perfect for senior pups. Melissa provides great recipes that make baking your own pup treats easy & rewarding. I love her Proud Dog Chef recipe book and enjoy her blog & KZbin videos. My pups wag their tails with happiness anytime I make homemade treats!

I just made these and Harley just gulped it down and wanted more! Thank you for the recipe. Will make it again at another time once these are gone, but will try it with chicken!

Hey Mary! I'm so happy to hear that Harley enjoyed the treats! The chicken ones are great too - my dogs go crazy for them. I actually made the chicken jellos again this week, but this time I swapped the carrots and parsley for 1 kale leaf. They came out this really pretty green color and my pups loved them Truly, they're so versatile and it's fun to play around with them! Another dog mom recently told me she couldn't find salmon so she used a can of sardines and her dog loved those! The biggest thing is just to get the ingredients warm first so the gelatin can set and work its magic :)

Do you need to refridgerate these treats? What is the shelf life?
@ProudDogMom5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nancy! Yes, they need to be refrigerated in an airtight container. They will last for about 4 days :)
