Just got the same microwave installed today with the help from your video. The only suggestion I would make is that Samsung include a template made from a stiff type poster board. It was especially hard to use their folded paper template on the bottom of the cabinet surface , but all is good it looks great and works well. The carbide tipped masonry bits Made Easy work of having to drill holes through the wall tile

No problem, but your right. I went on the assumption that the outlet was working, I didn't show it in the video but the over the range vent I removed was hard wired. Sharing, which seems to be from the outlet above. So I'd used electrical tape and push to wire behind the wall.

Funny, guy bought the same Microwave as me and has the same knife. I got this not because it's thin, but at 550 cfm its the highest suckage microwave without getting into a range hood. My wife cooks salted fish and chilis all the time which will choke out half the house. Taste good when eating, I mean when breathing it in the air. So this is sure to be a winner in our household once I install it. Thanks for the vid!!

This video helped so much!. I ended up installing this same microwave myself. It was kind of a pain to figure out the top mounting screws, mainly because I didn't have the template. But overall it wasn't too hard. Luckily I had two studs I could attach the bracket to. I did add the toggle bolt in the middle but it probably wasn't needed. The first toggle I used a drill on and of course it ended up falling down the wall, so luckily I had a spare.
@theskeetezone39233 ай бұрын
Glad you pulled it off... It's a good unit, so far no issues. If you have a stove by Samsung and it's Wi-Fi, the both communicate with each other. When I turn on the burner the vent cuts on automatically. 😉

@@theskeetezone3923 haha nice. Actually ours we had so many issues at least with the used one that we bought initially. Samsung techs have been out 3 times and hopefully are going to bring it back tomorrow. But we did order a new one too since there was a sale and that one will be ready next Friday. So hopefully Samsung techs fix the one otherwise it's going back to best buy outlet haha

With one difference... i have a wall to the left of my range. The oven fit perfectly- but the door would not open! The oven is 30 inches wide. But 32 inches wide when open. Had to take it all down and return it.

Wow, how deep we're you're cabinets, to meet the opening of the microwave door? I have the generic cabinets you'll pick up at your Lowe's or home depot. You said you brought the MW based off the video, bro you could have asked a couple of questions! To be honest with you, when we first gotten the unit we didn't measure at all the existing opening. We just happened to be in home depot! Wife seen it along with the stove and made the move to but them. On the hope it all fits.

Hey boss, do this microwave come with a recirculating system that you can change to either go outside the house or re circulate by itself? I removed the silver plate on top and nothing is there, I don’t have an vent that goes outside but I’m concern to hook up the microwave like that because if its missing the system then its a fire hazard but if the microwave is not suppose to have it than we are good. lmk boss
@theskeetezone39232 жыл бұрын
Hey, since you do not have a outside exhaust exiting the house. The top plates(2) towards the front on the top with the holes would have to stay on with yours. (air right), and (air left) Mine, I had to removed, Since I have a exhaust leading out the house. you wouldn't need to use that exhaust adapter. meaning do NOT Cut out that back plate. The Microwave has a 3 type option of ventilation. Yours would be Recirculating ( non- vented ductless) hope this helps ya.
@Dentalpros092 жыл бұрын
Do you need to connect a vent on top?
@theskeetezone39232 жыл бұрын
No. You don't. What's your layout? If you don't have a top vent leading outside. Or the back, there's open vent hole plates on the front top of the unit. Expelling air that way.

The Template, for the back wall I used, making out the holes needed for the metal strip bracket. while mount the bracket I used a level. to insure the straightness of it. As for the top, under the cabinet I eye balled it marking the template with a nail where the holes on each side will be. I didn't get it on point had to make the hole a bit bigger to catch the hole on top to get the screw in the top of the body.

The electrical wire that was running to the vent. I had used electrical caps to cover the ends, along with electrical tape to cover the wire individually while keeping them together with the tape...
