Just a tip. When framing a door. I like to leave the bottom plate bolted to the ground all the way across the opening and then before you mount the door cut down with the oscillating saw and pry up the cut piece. This way it’ll keep your walls in a straight line

Helpful video! And man, I’ve pulled too many back muscles just like you. I used to stretch so often and was always confused about my muscle tightness. It’s because of weakness. I've been looking for something just like this for my apartment patio - screened-in space, not something structural (I had a similar one at my old house). Question - My townhouse apartment patio is 17.5 FT wide x 9 FT deep. There's a privacy fence panel on each 9-ft side separating my space form my neighbor's space, and it starts about 18" up from the ground. One end is connected to the brick building, the other end is connected to the metal fence post just passed the concrete patio. Do I need to attach the 2x4's to the privacy panels, if so, how do I do that? What method is reocmmended that won't cause too much damage (something I can fix later down the road if I need to)?

Looks like it is because you were slightly twisted AND bending forward slightly. Both can stress a muscle and doing both at the same time definitely can. Twisting, especially while holding any amount of weight increases the work of the spine and the muscles that support it. Anything that moves your center of gravity forward can stress those muscles. I always tell patients that their feet should face the same direction as your face and of course softening your knees helps force you to decrease the work of your low back.

how u hurt yourself: usually something was already unsteady and about to blow. basically weakened. then ANY small stupid thing will be the last straw to then be an injury. it's how people do crazy injuries on the smallest stupidest stuff. regular stretching REALLY helps mitigate this.

Where you hurt yourself: You had your left leg extended in front of you and your foot planted, but your foot was not facing forward- it was slightly pronated (facing inward) and locked, and you were pushing off your back foot. The motion you were doing with the piece of food was arms extended in front of you holding something fairly heavy, and then lowering your arms to lower the wood to the ground. So that by itself can cause a lot of stress to the back muscles- serratus, lattismus etc. But THEN if you notice, the very last thing you did was you pushed off your extended back foot and made a slight twisting motion at the hips, pushing your right hip forward. That would have been the straw that broke the camel's back, or your back, as it were. JK... not a break but definitely a muscle strain. Possibly the internal obliques but that's just a guess :D

Amazing video... Got any good answers, on how you hurt yourself? If you don't have kidney stones... You more than likely stretch too far to your sides. Your lumbar disks can only take so much. People think they have to lift something heavy, or twist too much, and your disks pop out. (That is not the case) It's the way you were moving side to side, you were putting too much weight to your rightside disc. Hope you didn't herniate it. Take care of your back. Don't over do it. (Do you have a stationary job?) Are you sitting down most of the day? That will do it too.
