I bought a plan and have now fabricated my own metal bender. I couldn´t agree more to all positive feedback! The bender works very well and is really very flexible!! I did a small adjustment to #2 (Flat steel 100x10, lenght 820 mm) in the plan: I drilled two 13mm holes in lower left and right corners and I now can bolt #2 to a vertical support in the table if needed. This helped a lot not to overstress the weld between #2 and both #4´s when working with "too tough" material. Oh, by the way, you also inspired me to enhance my welding table to a totally new level.

I think it would be interesting. If KZbin had a worldwide contest of the top voted metal workers where they are given access to a stockpile of steel and nothing else as well as no tools to see how everyone would approach building a workshop from the ground up. What basics would you need to build first? Perhaps at a minimum you would need a rig welder and access to one drill and one angle grinder? Thoughts on such a contest. It’s almost like how you would build a metal shop in the apocalypse. I have a basic MiG welder and buzz box drills and angle grinders and some large outdoor steel work benches, but want to make my own welding table that is Level and eventually have sheet metal bender, CNC machine, plasma, table, etc., but not sure what I should buy versus what I should build. Your channel is one of the best ones out there for starting from scratch as well as a guy I think who goes by made in Poland.
