What type of fabric do we use, a special type? Also I'm not familiar with dying fabric but is this process different than the standard Rit Die process or a tie die process we call it/?

Hi there Angela! Thanks so much for stopping by and watching my video! Great questions!! So as for my dyeing with Rit Dye or any other type of dye that is not 'synthetic' dye, I use (its best to use) as natural fabric blends as possible/100% cotton fabric or linen and not polyester/nylon or spandex. So for this video I used a meter of standard bleached calico fabric (100% cotton) along with a 100% cotton bed sheet that I picked up at a thrift store haha! However, if you do want to dye any type of special synthetic fabric, there are also synthetic dyes that should do the job well too. And as for the dyeing process, this is just standard Rit dyeing process (as directions on the Rit package) however the only change is the technique of folding the fabric/material :-) I hope that this makes sense and that it helps Angela, if there is anything else I can help with just feel free to ask away! :-) Lots of love, Steph xoxox
