Looking good! Can you add a link to the paper roll you have hanging on the side to protect your table top? The ones i'm finding won't stop glue moisture and stain/paint from bleeding through. Thanks!

The author does like to from scratch, kzbin.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

Both my guy and I have separate shops. His shop is tractors, painting tractors or trucks, tractor repair/rebuild, combine work and occasionally a warm space for me to work on wood projects, furniture or vintage camper restoration. My shop is mostly camping, project building, home improvement, gardening and wood projects. We both have the need for paper towels, rags and gloves! I am a re-user so I have a crap ton of odd lumber. I tend not to buy plans as I would have to have all the same type of material. I like to see ideas and wing it. I LOVE French cleats too!!! Nothing should be hung on a wall without one! Thanks for the video and ideas! NOTE: what I would buy is the paper towel dowel holders and spacers, but I will make them out of wood..

Excellent idea, thanks. I need to do something very similar out in my shop, always needing towels, rags, gloves, etc. This is a great shop must have, otherwise they all get tossed around the shop and never where they were when you last saw them. That cabinet can easily be modified to accommodate different items too, excellent.

Awesome cabinet. Much fancier than my setup. My wife has a cat so I get cat litter buckets. Hinged lid and rectangular. I cut a 4" circle in the lower face of the bucket to pull the rags out. I stick the bucket on a shelf or hang from the handle depending on where I need it.

@davidkenagy87065 жыл бұрын
I liked the project and the video. Since you asked for feedback....In my shop, I use gloves and paper towels, but also wax paper (not enough rags for three boxes). My cloth rags are uniform, and used for applying or wiping stain (so I don't need three separate boxes). When I use paper towels, (as you said) my hands are already covered in water, paint or stain. So grabbing the paper roll to rip off one is a problem. With wax paper, I tear off small pieces, to keep glue off the clamps and workbench. So my ideal rack would have: - Two or more rolls, but restrained (slightly) to make them easier to tear off just one. Maybe add an edge to cut off the wax paper piece - One (or no) box for cloth towels - Keep the glove box as you didThe 3-D printed parts are (sort of) cheating, as few of us have these. Routing that "L"-shaped channel for the roll bar(s) would be fair, though.

@jac_builtWoodworks5 жыл бұрын
@@wildbill23cI don't have a 3D printer either but I made them with plywood, a forstner bit and a chisel. You don't need a 3D printer. I'm sure a hardware store might also have something similar.

This looks like something I will need to build. The only addition I would make is a place for waterless hand cleaner. I use Joe's Hand Cleaner (available on Amazon). I started using Joe's because the container hangs upside down. It turns out to be a great waterless cleaner. A hook under the latex gloves would be the only thing to add.
