Hi thank you for the video. I have a problem with my tub. There's a soft spot in it. That spots sinks when you step on it and makes a kind of snapping sound like it bending plastic. What do you think it might be? The tub is the type that is custom made. The tub and walls are all just one piece made in the early 80s

Hi, thanks for commenting 🙂. Most of the tubs and trays we’ve repaired are double skinned. As in they have more than one layer, bonded together, to provide strength. Where are you located please? Can you send us some photos so we can advise you on your problem? Thanks

Yes, it can be applied to any material tray. It sticks least well to ceramic trays, but because ceramic trays are so heavy and difficult to replace, it’s still often worth a try

Hi Bill, the tray should be cured enough to use as normal 48 hours after resurfacing. Then fully cured after around 72 hours. Did you take before and after photos? What’s your overall thoughts about the product and our method? Thanks

Hi, thanks for the comment. Great question, yes the product can be used on ceramic trays. We did one quite recently where the customer started to take the ceramic tray out, realised he would need a crane and digger (😂), then used our product which solved the problem! Hi, thanks for the question. Yes it’s a good idea to scuff up the tray so that the new coating adheres as well as possible. Our kit includes enough wet and dry sand paper for this and also smooth out any filler applied during the crack repair step (if required). Have you got the link to order the kit? Thanks 🙂
