I think your doing exactly what I had in mind .... except I was thinking of keeping on the flat fabric base covering the metal frame ..... I'm guessing it would be a bit harder doing it just to the frame ?? I'm pretty handy , so is my dad .... I've taken this adjustable base apart a few times to epically just recently from moving to NORTH CAROLINA

Thank you for your video. I have already subscribed to your channel. I saw the tools lists and the links. It's a very nice introduction. But actually, if I want to make the same bed in my environment, I do not know about the machine module, such as the hydraulic rod, the electric components. If you have enough time, could you make a video or open a list to introduce more details about this bed? I want to make a similar one for my old mom. Thank you for your video. I am looking forward to your reply.

All the hydraulics came with the original bed, I just cut up and made it wider. You might look on marketplace to see if you can find a used one.

You didn't show how it looks working with the mattress nor how it works with just the mechanism. English speaking people should learn from non english speaking people. They clearly outline in very short time exactly how things work. Video is meant to show how things work. Just talking about it defeats the purpose. English speaking people and French talk it to death. Still I appreciate your effort it's free and it takes quite a bit of effort to make a video even as you have made. I'm still grateful for your efforts.

Thank you for your constructive criticism. As you might guess it is difficult to do a project film, capture and explain everything as effectively as I would like. I do this part time and the project if I recall correctly took me a few weeks to complete which makes it even more difficult to tell the story. Again, thank you for your comment and watching the video, both are appreciated.

The title is wrong. It wasn't a simple bed frame. I don't have a folding bed yet, so I need to know the mechanics about it. Title and picture are what I'm looking for. Cool video anyway.

You are right, guess it was only simple due to fact I was only making it wider. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Hey I had a Question .... I'm kinda on a budget cause ... So I always wanted a Temperpedic Mattress but there so expensive... j never wanted to shell out the $2,300 but now 15 yrs later you go Into Matress Firm and almost I st every bed is about $2500 - $6000 ( $5000 or so for the higher end Temperpedic 10° Cooler wich I love ) but now I figure with the prices of beds and my bad back let me Spring For the Cheaper ADAPT TEMPURPEDIC... about $2100 for the Queen $2800 for The KING SIZE ... OK HERES MY QUESTION.... can I turn my Temperpedic Ergo Plus Adjustable Base Queen ..... into a KING SIZE BASE ???? THIS WAY I DON'T HAVE TO BUY A A KING SIZE ADJUSTABALE BASE ???? It seems like how some are made I can just screw in some Boards going across with some space inbetween each one....kinda like how you see some come that have about 5 palats just going across .... I figured maybe make t BFF em a little linger big enough for a King Size mattress and attach them on ???? Lmk ASAP / OR ANY OTHER IDEAS ?..... THANKS SO MUCH

That would probably work. I just made the frame wider with metal and plywood.
