Nicely done on this set up my friend. I purchased a sit dog last year and then ended up making my own saddle and ran with it, I need to find my sit drag and possibly sale it, I don't need it now since I made my own saddle. Thanks again for sharing and I hope you have a blessed week. Dale

I recommend the tree clibers companion by Jeff Jepson. He also has one of the best tree care knot books available. You'll love the books and they're inexpensive. You'll thank yourself for getting them.

That double fisherman's on you Prussic really should have some tag ends and finishing knots for safety. The double fisherman's knot typically doesn't pull out, but man-0-man, I'd sure want some tag ends, myself. Otherwise, a nice set up, and cheaper/easier than what I have. Congrats.

They had tags but I burnt them down, that knot has been set like that for a few years no budge. I’m probably going to order that preset version I posted a link for in the description just because it looks a little shorter than mine.

Chris, can you post a link on the rock climbing harness you use? Thanks bro. Btw you can screw some ply wood to the top of your lower climbing apparatus and jig it out in a semi circle to “fit” your tree. That would give you a small platform and it wouldn’t restrict your climbing ability- might work. Great videos too sir!

I climb as high as the situation dictates. I've hunted anywhere from 10-35ft. I've used this same setup to climb a tree more than 50ft to do some trimming.
