many years ago 42 to be exact, hubby and I bought our first home after renting. We hated the Kitchen and bathroom, but the view was second to none in both rooms. It was a coastal home with panoramic views of the bay. With my imagination and hubby's Kiwi DIY attitude we gave the Kitchen a facelift until we could afford to put in a new one. We ended up loving it truly. It was so cute. Now after 36 yrs we are on our rural ten ac property, we love it too, we still enjoy the coast, but much prefer the rural lifestyle here in NZ. You both seem to suit it too. Loved the video x

A true Virgo in her element. The colour scheme is perfect and earthy, the pottery is great and earthy, the rug lovely and earthy, the red door is perfect and great Feng shui 👌. And little wool-son crying out in the background is soo earthy... I hope he got his morning feed soon enough, he's such a dear little 'being' ... You're cupboards look fantastic, organised so beautifully and so earthy. Well done, youre a true harvest queen♍ 💐

I have an egg skelter to hold the eggs we get from our chickens and it’s great! You take the bottom egg and the rest roll down, so you’re using up the oldest eggs first. When you are collecting new eggs daily it’s really handy to know which ones are the older ones!

I'm loving this video series, Carrie! 😊 The end result is soo good, but I can't wait to see the outcome of the full renovations. On this topic, I have a video request for you. I'd love to see a video where you talk us through the planning of the new kitchen. Basically explaining how you want to design the new kitchen, what you want to keep or change, any inspiration you are drawing from. Planning a new kitchen is really overwhelming and I think it would be super interesting and helpful to hear you talk about this process. 💜

So amazing !! I would suggest adding rubber holds/stickers on the bottom of all your jars, or a thin wooden strip across the shelves lower down. A small earth quake rumble (which happens often) could find them crashing/sliding off. Or those non slip matts that you can often put inside draws or under rugs to stop them sliding are a great solution too! Just seen @JamesKahi has suggested the same advice.
