DIY Storage Rails, Part 2: The Mounting

After having done this a few times, it took me less than 20 minutes to mount both of these rails. The first couple times were a bit of a struggle and even required some assistance. The trick is a drywall screw!

Did you drill into ceiling joists or just wherever they measured out too?

How wide are the joists? Are the joists parallel or perpendicular to the rails?

The joists are 5 inches and they are running perpendicular to the rails.
