SWYTCH SCAM ALERT. I ordered the Swytch kit. It came in months later but at the estimated time. It DID NOT fit my bike. The tire fit but the axel did not fit my fork. Customer service barely replies. I asked multiple times if I could buy a wheel motor with a wider axel. No response. I was allowed to send it back for a refund. I sent it back. A week later they tell me they are only giving a partial refund. No refund for $50 shipping and no refund for the $78 tax. That's $128 out of my pocket. No response from Swytch. I am now trying to make a dispute with my bank. AVOID THIS PRODUCT. This seller does not try to help you with fitting the product. They do not reply. If it does not fit your bike you are out $128.

Recently "pre" ordered a Swytch kit for my cargo bike, expect to get it in a month or so.

I'd say he won. He's got a job reviewing bikes, owns a fantastic bike anyone given the choice would take from him, and I would assume he hasn't gone homeless yet because of it. All wins to me.

Swytch have terrible support, after buying a kit trying to get help is so hard especially as it looks like their help centre marks many of your tickets as solved even if they have not been answered. You send them pictures of your bike before, and they say that it is compatible but when you try to install it the censor and disk do not fit and you find that you need some "torque kit" when you have carbon forks.

What's the essence of cycling when you convert a roadbike into an e-bike? I can tolerate these e things in a MTB but, road-cycling should be left sacred.
