Super cute! I'm always impressed with the things you figure out by trial and error. I'm lucky if I can remember to sew things right sides together haha. I also wanted to say that I have literally taught myself how to sew thanks to your videos! I've altered my own clothes to fit my better and made my baby cousin a bunch of food from felt!

Sarah Grady My nephew loves these, too! Especially the ones where a piece of fruit is made from different parts and stuck together with velcro. They look a little ridiculous to an adult, but he just loves taking them apart with his ‚knife‘ before serving. So worth the extra work!

At first, I was like “oooh this seems really easy, maybe I’ll try it later with one of my tops” and then it got way more complicated and I was like “yeah....nah” It’s really cute though. I just don’t think my skills are there yet.

Sarah Nink It works best on a shirt like hers. They sell plain shirts like that from Joanns for like $3 or &4 or even cheaper if they've got a coupon on the app applicable to the shirt.

Also you should always IRON your fabric/clothes before working with it!

What IF, you used 2 different colors of t shirts so the left and right sides were different colors, like black and white? Like when Michels has solid color tees on sale 2 for $5. I want to try this with black and white!

I wish you could put templates online I’ve been watching your videos forever and we have pretty similar bodies. I’ve only sewn a couple of times and don’t now much about how to make shapes for different kind of styles or to make any piece of clothing in general. It’d be really cool to have something like that! That is so darned cute. I saw one the other day with two different colored front sides and twisted I guess an extra time so that one color on top was the color on the opposite side bottom. You should give that a try! Great episode.

Also, your articulate way of teaching is so organized!!! I have watched many diy channels but you are heads and shoulders above them in the quality of information and execution!! You are young, beautiful and so very talented! I have a request, have you ever done a video on the proper tools to have in a sewing kit/room? And , how to maintain the health of one's sewing machines? My tension with seams has always been a real source of frustration for me. I am starting to sew again, to help me overcome a concussion, resulting in a mild TBI, I sustained from a work accident. Sewing is much more fun than doing puzzles, ect.❤❤❤❤❤❤
