If the filler is cement based, make sure it doesn't dry too quickly. Hang a moisten sheet on the wall to keep it from drying too fast in the sun. Cement loves time and moisture. Treat it well and it will thank you by being super hard and solid. Enjoy your fishing!

Doing the same on a house in Sweden. Using Ardex f5. I'm wondering if I can apply a smooth coat over big areas then roll a second layer to match the texture or if I should just try to texture the paint.

Do you know how to make a survival still for distilling bad water. Great vid cleanup that putty knife. Metal detectoring is good. You guys got any gold over there. As in placer gold. How about some archery.
@ashscott60686 жыл бұрын
Yeah. You don't, cus they don't work. If it's dry enough that you can't find clean water, then no still you can ever improvise can ever provide enough water to keep a human being alive. Unless this "survival" situation is taking place in a junkyard where you can find the materials to make a half decent still. Then all you gotta worry about is starving to death because you spend all day looking for wood to feed the still...oh, and being poisoned by the bad water, cus a still only removes poisons that have a boiling point greater than water does. You'll be drinking the rest of them.

My wife constantly nags me about this problem. There isn't a day that goes by when she doesn't remind me that we have a crack in the bedroom that she wants me to fill. When we 1st got together I was much more enthusiastic about these chores, but now after 29 years together the very thought turns me cold. I've tried to explain this to her but all she says is that if I'm not willing to do it she'll have to get an expert in to do the job.

I had to fix a hole in my door so I used expanding foam cut and sand level-ish and then multi purpose filler over the top then sand, gloss over it and now you would never know a massive hole once went straight through it.

How did silicone not work for you?? Silicone will probably never blend in as well (even when painted over) but 100% it’ll last longer than masonry filler

great idea for a new channel guys, and some good tips in this first video although there not actually applicable to me at the moment living in rented accommodation. what about a vid on the original "volcano kettle" the Kelly kettle. the same idea as the ghilli kettle but it was invented by fishermen in Ireland. also lighting tips, as in fire lighting, with flints and strikers, or using char cloth, maybe how to make char cloth, knife care, maybe a basic campers starters guide aimed at getting kids outdoors, as in basic kit you'll need, basic lay out of your camp, maybe map reading and how to use a compass.

I like the new channel. Some thoughts and ideas I had. Why not do another video on you ghille kettle, this time without burning the lawn. :) As far as interviews here are a few ideas, Charlie Jacobi, David Wright, maybe a game keeper or common fellow who is out doing a spot of ratting. Maybe interview some kids about their experiences? Maybe interview Deep Digger Dan, being your waving the metal detector around. You could take a person who has never fished out and interview them about it. Just some ideas for you fellows. Keep up the good work. You inspire me to make more videos though my time is short as of late.
