I like the way that you did this I made something something similar but mine only holds 4 arrows and it is still life weight for my survival now but I would prefer to carry 6 arrows instead,so I guess I will make another set that are larger I also used camo gorilla tape on mine because they were really bright in color( neon green,yellow,and orange ) the only thing I could find at the time. Lol. So I will look for a pair of camo or black ones so that they will blend in better. I like them in style because they are very quite and don't add to much weight and force a sever cant to your bow while shooting plus for hunt and stalk they are easy to applie and use. Keep up the good work and good luck in the woods.

Carrying broadheads without a head cover is no good. For field points and small game points, it’s fine, but those broadheads been to be protected so they stay sharp.
@prairiemountainmanadventur7424 Жыл бұрын
Works good for me. May not work good for you. 3 years like this and no issues.
@randygrider97582 жыл бұрын
You need a cover for points. No one should walk around with exposed broadheads
@prairiemountainmanadventur74242 жыл бұрын
I agree some people shouldn't. But hunters have done it for decades with no issues as long as you are aware and careful. Ive ran this 2 season walked lots of miles and never put the broad heads close to me. I also have no need for 5 broad heads. I only carry 2 the rest are small game heads. You can easily add a hood if concerned. Thanks for watching.

🤔... maybe recycled HDPE with a bike inner tube for the clamp and glue gun the arrow grooves to allow the arrows to " clip " into them securely...could work 🤷🏻♂️🙂
@prairiemountainmanadventur74242 жыл бұрын
I'm sure that could work. Let me know what you come up with!
@Bowfella Жыл бұрын
That wouldn't be safe with broadheads. You don't want to end your trip with stitches or worse, dead. Plus I can only see this catching a bunch of brush and possibly losing an arrow. You're not spending much money or time getting some leather and stitching together a hood to safely store broadheads.
@prairiemountainmanadventur7424 Жыл бұрын
You do realize hunters used an open quiver design for decades right. I've used this 2 full seasons now. Walked over 50km through thick bush with no real issues. My bow itself catches more then the arrows. It's not for everyone i get that but for me it's all I need
@Bowfella Жыл бұрын
@@prairiemountainmanadventur7424 I know but just be careful. I've heard horror stories of people that almost died from tripping and severing an artery while having an arrow nocked. Those fixed blades are scary sharp and I've had my fair share of stitches from the tiniest mistake when handling them.
