DIY Volkswagen CC Front Lower Control Arm Replacement

Hello wannabe mechanics and merry holidays !
This is a two part tutorial in which we will show you how to repair your Passat cc after a small collision .

Note: For DSG you will have to proceed in the following easiest maner:
1. You can loosen up / remove the bolts of the front axle until it goes down under the level of the gearbox. This way you can remove the bolt out of the front bushing of the lower control arm.
2. A more complex method: loosen up the gearbox stand and suspend the gearbox.
Notă: Pentru masinile dotate cu cutie DSG
1. Se pot slăbi șuruburile punții față și astfel puntea coboară sub nivelul cutiei , făcând accesibilă scoaterea șurubului de la bucșa mică.
2. Metoda mai complexă : slăbit tamponul cutiei și suspendată cutia pe cric.
Prima variantă este mai ok.

Frumos! Îmi place, cred ca ma descurc la roata stânga, am înțeles de la un prieten ca la roata dreapta e mai complicat. Nu aveți ceva detalii și pentru partea dreapta?

Salut! La roata dreaptă este exact la fel pt cutia manuală. Posibil să se refere la bascula din stânga pt cutie automată unde șurubul bucșei mici lovește în baia de ulei a cutiei de viteze. Mulțumim pentru abonare. Cu prima ocazie vom face un tutorial și pt automată,basculă stânga.

Those are stretch bolts and should be replaced. They are one time use only.

The part did not come with new bolts and we couldn't find any to order. Thank you for your comment.
