Hi Mandy - we are back at the moment and the videos are a bit behind as we are travelling so fast - but we are only in for a couple of months as on this series of youtube we set ourselves the challenge to drive Trudy the circumference of the planet !! We hope to be able to restart that again in the next couple of months ! M

I thought the singer Katie Melua was born in Gori, only she wasn't. It was Kutaisi, though she released an album where she sings a few songs with the Gori women's choir. So I'm getting my facts mixed up a bit!

The cows usually come back home - they are smart and kind enough to do that every night. Occasionally you get a stubborn freedom loving animal, in which case the owner would need to find them and bring them home. Sometimes cows get lost, and again, the owners go and look for them. My grandpa used to have cows on the Georgian countryside, he would give them the cutest names, they were kind gentle creatures. I am still sad about one of his cows killed by a lightning 50 years ago... her name was Prettiest :(

The cows and other animals come back when they're tired of galavanting about. Usually at the same time everyday, so the farmer knows to go open the gate for them at 6 or whatever.

Missing out on filming Stalin's house is akin to missing out on filming Hitler's house. No real loss. My opinion.
@reddragon9443 жыл бұрын
The Stalin Museum is part of the Soviet occupation, its continuation is the Museum of Occupation in Tbilisi. In Gori, the narrator reads a text written in 1977. To better understand what the cult of personality looks like, then you should definitely go to the Museum of Occupation in Tbilisi for the full picture. Unfortunately, this tour and the idea have not refined and some tourists get very angry after seeing this place ☺

Thankfully you did not film the museum, it would be ridiculous to propagate such a crime regime.

In Georgia, over the past 30 years, there have been 4 wars. One civil war, and 3 wars with Russia, so far 20% of Georgia is occupied by Russia, before that there was communism, and even before that, Islamic expansion for a thousand years, Europe, which got rich on the colonies, is not needed compare with Georgia where there is always war. Read books please, and then be smart.
