Hi everyone - thanks for tuning in. In addition to the videos we publish on Wednesday and Sunday we are also going to add in a couple of shorts which have to be under 60 secs. We thought it would be fun to go a quick fire Q&A so if you want a question included put in the comments and start the comment with the world SHORT . If you saw the short this week I am pleased to confirm my ankle is ok - just swollen and sore but not broken ! thanks for all the messages - Love from us xx

Short: two questions 1) what’s been the hardest adjustment to vanlife? 2) Do you ever have any stress to deal with from back home? Or is it a real escape from it all?
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
Hi - I think learning to use less resources was a good one, and what we needed rather than what we wanted to bring for sure was a learning curve ! But the stress from home / life is no different than if you are in a brick home, as nothing has just changed we are just in a different location when we get phone calls LOL xx
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
@IOXAN PHENOMENON KZbin must have made some updates and you can now create playlists and add shorts to them. We'll still be publishing the normal videos but thought we would try adding some extra little clips - like travel moments, travel tips and quick Q&A's It actually looked very relaxing and beautiful so maybe I will give it a go in the future - Chris :)
@lifewiththehenleys68803 жыл бұрын
@@TREADtheglobe thanks for the answer. I always imagine hitting the open road to escape the stress people cause back home. Sounds like it never really stops, you are just further away from it when it happens.Lol I imagine minimising would have been a challenge yet liberating at the same time. Still hoping to live the dream one day.

As we explained in a previous video our time to explore and see what we wanted to in Georgia and the East of Turkey is limited and so we had a choice. Don't visit everywhere, don't film it or let the videos get behind for now and then catch them up after the turtle centre opening. We chose to put the videos out delayed as it doesn't affect your viewing experience and we get to capture those wonderful memories. When you travel fast and film it takes around 4 days to a week to create 2 videos - (2 days filming and around 12 -14 hours to edit each video) Hope that helps explain. We are planning to have them back to almost live by the end of the year - Chris

How wise of you NOT to sign a Police statement written in Georgian script that you do not understand. Although probably legitimate, it shows just how easy it is for foreigners to be 'set up' for crimes they have not committed while abroad. Good advice, if in this situation, to get statement translated by a third party, such as Google translate rather than relying on the translator provided by the local Police. Sounds like a difficult and scary position to be put in. Glad you managed it successfully (and safely!). Enjoy the rest of your travels in Georgia 👍👍🇬🇪 🇬🇪🇬🇪
@peterneal71603 жыл бұрын
I have done a two man Microlight flight in Oregon, it was fantastic! The good thing is it has an engine pushing you along! But it had a similar Canopy! What a cheek of the Cops asking you to sign that Statement without you verifying what you were signing, It could have been for 10 years on the 'Russian Front' :-)

Just a short drive from our home in Cardiff today, we saw many stunning views of green fields ,valleys,woodland,forests and interesting and pretty farms and villages, not coal mines,they have all gone now and we don't all sing in choirs ! Hi Guys, Yet another great video, thank you. One question at 15:-29 into the video the phone shows a date of Monday 30th August? Go on then...🤔
@TREADtheglobe3 жыл бұрын
Hi Graham - thanks for watching and yes you are right this was filmed on the 30th October - (in every video description it says which month it was filmed) if you watch our channel regularly you will have heard us say that we will be filming Georgia and the east of Turkey faster than we can create videos because we have to get back to the south of Turkey to open the Sea Turtle rescue centre we built. It takes about 4- 5 days a week to make 2 video plus the travelling and video research, and other social media. So we had a choice, don't share 75% of our travels in these places or allow the videos to get much further behind that normal. We decided it would be better to share them as it makes no difference to the viewer experience. Once we start driving around the world again (soon) they will only be about a week behind live. They will never be live as it takes too long to make the videos. A Long answer but hope that makes sense.
