I am very new at this. I just got the cricket air 2 for Christmas. When I bought round wood from hobby lobby I didn’t realize that it was super thin. Now a have several that I glazed rather than stained. What would you suggest to do with them since I didn’t buy the right thickness. I have a lot of picture frames that I can put chicken wire as a backing. I love crafting but don’t know how to start. Another question do I have to set up some kind of website to sell stuff or create a Pinterest? Again I don’t know how to do that. I am in my 40s and have lupus and I am just trying to find things to get my mind off my current life issues.

Fun 🙃 welcome to the crafting family. I created several signs and a few sign videos, I did a few videos using thin 12 inch rounds 😉 you could watch those for some inspiration (i know one was some Easter Signs). I don't sell on pinterest or on my blog, I sell directly on Facebook and Facebook marketplace and in 2 consignment stores 😊 maybe start with Facebook. Im here to help however I can. Happy Crafting

Someone kept telling me to put Mod Podge down before I do my painting of my lettering and every time I kept pulling up I'm going to do it your way and see if it works any better
@icreatecrafts84622 жыл бұрын
I've never done it that way, personally. I've heard of that but also hear that it pulls up and you don't get nice lines. Let me know what you think when you try it this way ☺

Can I ask why you use Stencil instead using the words in vinyl on the round wood?
@icreatecrafts84623 жыл бұрын
Good question. I didn't want to use vinyl on this project, sometimes I do ht I also wanted to show people how to use a stencil ☺

Do you mirror the words?

Hi Amy, no you dont mirror this. You would only mirror if using HTV or if it was going on glass. Great question ;)
