DIY Wooden Sandals with Hinged Soles

I needed new sandals. I also work with wood and leather. I thus made some custom sandals from the materials in my workshop and they are much more comfortable than I expected.
I am very happy with the result. I made a few minor adjustments after one week of wear and they feel perfect!

Do you still wear them? Any pros and cons. Thinking of building one

I still wear them sometimes but mostly for doing light work outside. Pros: they are durable and the straps are easily adaptable. Cons: they are a bit noisy - especially indoors (they squeak and the wood does make a loud sound when stepping on something hard); the leather stretched a bit in the beginning and needed to be adjusted a few times before it was perfect - this can however be avoided by using different leather or another material. Note: many people was worried that the hinge would bite my foot but this has not happened once and I do not really think it can given the position and the type of hinge. All in all I would give it a 6.5 out of 10. Good for outside work.
