Waiting around for the cabin to get warm? You have a source of electric. When I go too my camp, I have a 30k btu propane turbo heater to get the place warm while the main heat source is starting. It heats the place in 30 minutes
@diyalaskanlifestyle
@diyalaskanlifestyle 11 ай бұрын
Ya I might consider another source of heat. we are so busy with our kids wrestling during the first/cold part of winter it’s usually fairly warm when we make it to the cabin
@kevinferger9897
@kevinferger9897 11 ай бұрын
@@diyalaskanlifestyle A wood burning stove just takes to long to heat a cabin. If it's like 30 or 40 degrees Fahrenheit it's not a big deal but when your place is -10 I like to heat it up faster.

When I got to the river I took it out of eco mode just in case there was overflow. With the dog sled hooked up and the untouched snow the turbo def made some noise.

Trust me on this don’t fight with that generator anymore. Just take it inside for 1520 minutes. Let it warm up she’ll kick right over. It’s better than fighting for 20 minutes with it and I’ve done this time and time again with my 2500 is the best advice I can give you you won’t have to fight with it one pull she’ll fire right up.
