Your projects are coming along very well. Idk if you already thought of it but may I suggest for your sauna that you make either an aluminum box the size of the stovetop or use a large cooking pot filled with Lava Rocks to pour water w/a long handled cup on top of the rocks. 👍🏻

If that’s spruce you used for the sauna bench seat, you might consider using cotton wood as it is a softer wood and much cooler to sit on.

Greets again from Hamburg in Germany- from the facility manager. Heathly lifing-life live- JFK Junior said it some days ago- again: 2000 diferend chemicals in US food. (forbitten in the EU) Healthy building is my topic- there are many chemical poisions in house building material. Sauna- culture has its own security rules because you breathe hot humidiy air into the lunges and the skin breathes also. By sweating you sweat stuff out of the body but in the same time the skin can breaths chemicals and transport them in the blood. The biggest danger ist the air- You must close the inside with wood- you must cover the fake insolation with wood. Humidity is in the insolation does not matter if it is rockwool glaswool or plastik wool. In that stuf is also chemical antifire stuff that will lose when its in the near of a heat sorce. The pipe insolation (black) between the logs have cancer producing softmakers in. Heat loses its poison and you will breath that in. In my sport club we take down -demoloshed_ a 10 year "old sauna" it was a high end system from skandinavia- BUT the rock woll was full of fungi total rotten between the wood. Crazy. Fungi has a smal partical that can press between the wood into the sauna. Saunas have to be build traditionell. In the east they use moss between the logs! They regulate the humidity and get dry in the sauna use. Its natural. No chemical. As more wood as better the insolation. Also put big wood slats outside the sauna. Dont use spray foam. Fill gaps with moss or wool! Long therm is the use of the sauna a good thing. But if you dont protect your body from cancer producing softeners in plastic insolations or rockwool chemical you gather all kinds of things in your body. Like the softner in the plastik windows. No where in the EU or east europe you will find a sauna with plastic windows. There is no need for a window. Many have a small extra room like a mudroom to hang the clothes or shange the shoes there is also the shower and a sitting place for 2-4 persons for "the drink after" or food :-) The good thing is that you have enough space in front of the sauna door to create such a "entry change clothes" room. This is also importend to keep the heat in the sauna while you go in and out. I think that this second miniroom would be warm enough because its heated by the sauna heat to. Remember: As more wood- fiber masses is in such a sauna as warmer it will be and as longer the heat will stay. For safty reason: A small air hole in the floor with mice grids and air holes on top could lead some heat into the WCs and fresh air will prefent a lack of oxigene. PS: I would take the plasitc windows out safe them for another building and close that part with much wood. The heights of a sauna the ceiling is also a number. Als lower it is as better the heat turbulences. If you sit in the bench you will enjoy the heat under the ceiling. Heat rises to the top. Consider to change the heights of the sauna room for a better feeling. And let the dogs wear a ski- glas for cold wind protection. Love Frank

Before you build that stupid tub, should have, built a garage for the boat, so you could work on it, winters, just in case you have to for an emergency, hard to work on engines in the cold days or night, If I know I'll be in the boonies with my family, and my only way to get to emergency help, I had to rely on engines, first thing Ima always make sure to have is fuel stabilizer for generators atv boat, those are your life lines, for survival, or maybe it's because I'm black, I think of these thing's
