Cleaned sardines 500 gms
Shallots 5 pcs
Ginger small piece
Garlic pods 8 pcs
Lemon 1 no's
Chilly powder Kashmiri 2 tbsp
Crushed pepper powder 2 tbsp
Tumeric powder 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Curry leaves few
Oil (coconut oil best )
Procedure
Clean fish & make gashes on both sides of the fish. Grind shallots,ginger,garlic & few curry leaves along with 1 tbsp of water. Marinate the fish with this mixture along with chilly powder, pepper powder,tumeric powder ,salt & lemon juice for around half an hour.
In a pan pour little coconut oil and fry the sardines..
Enjoy with rice
Enjoy cooking
