I bought a 55$ commercial freezer from Craigslist. People used to freeze their food in there. After deep cleaning it multiple times. Now I freeze my meat in that freezer. It works just fine

Bro we got a blue barrel filled it water and frozen water bottles did our plunges. Then hooked a spout up to it and drained it out slowly into the garden. 100 dollar one time purchase. Grab the water bottles and throw wm back in the freezer. I swear the western world over complicates the simplest things 😂😂😂. And for you lazy people just refill during the end of your cool down training 😂😂😂

$150 for a used chest freezer. Turn it on over night and it'll start to freeze so we unplug it for 4 days and it goes from about 35 to 48 and then we plug it it again for one night. Add a 1/4 teaspoon of chlorine ever couple uses. No sealing, no leaking, super easy.
@DIYColdPlunge5 ай бұрын
No sealing? Sounds like a problem waiting to happen
@alecsparks24865 ай бұрын
Nope.
@Edbrad4 ай бұрын
Why do people worry so much about the ice freezing? Surely you can just throw a bunch of salt in there to allow you to get the temperature to go lower without it freezing. Has anyone thought of this?

@@memylings8096i live in Southern California and even with 60 pounds of ice it takes my 54 degree water and only drops it 5 or so degrees. Which is pretty frustrating. I’ve had to spend over $50 on ice just to get it in the low 40’s. Freezing water for 24 hours won’t freeze over all the way through unless it’s bottles
