00816 Power steering sensor G250 fault code after PAS Pump replacement on a VW Polo 2013

Investigating & Fixing fault code 00816 power steering sensor G250 after replacing the power steering pump on a 2013 Volkswagen polo. Power steering pump had failed and needed replacing, originally there was no communication with the power steering ECU, once the pump had been fitted you could communicate and the steering was working but not 100% with the fault light left on the dash. Fault code 00816 stored in the ECU. The new pump simply needed coding.
