I genuinely really enjoy the song, it’s very him and leaves a lot of interesting staging opportunities that could really up the performance. Not to mention the various chances for him to show off his vocal abilities, a really good song for him!

The song doesn’t HIT! But I think people would be silly to think Olly won’t got to Malmö without A SHOW! I can see a little revamp to bring a bit more climax for ESC! A winner? Not in my opinion. Top 10/Top half? Absolutely! Not lost hope. :))

@@Rik77 as far as I know, the song had the same collaborators as "Houdini" by Dua Lipa. Dua Lipa songs are mostly safe radio friendly fare but never boring so I don't know what happened here!

It’s a 7/10. Not more, but not less either. There is a lot of production on his voice in this version though, so might sound a little different live.

I think this is a grower buddy- one thing for sure is that his performance will be far better than mae mullers last year . My personal preference is for belgium / Italy which are bangers but I do think we could finish top 10 !

Its in my top 10. I really like it, but I also felt, that if it wasn't as hyped as it has been, a lot of people might not be that disappointed, as I can read from a lot of comments. The performance has to be spectacular for it to get into the top 5 I feel, or just really be the vibe people look for on the night, but I am a fan of Ollys so fingers crossed. It is still a really good pop song with the style you've come to expect from Years and Years with a little nod to Pet shop boys I feel in the bridge, but it will be compared to others like Belgium and Switzerland regarding male entries in this years contest, and those are favorites to do really well.

It is underwhelming, though that is partly the fault of Olly and his team for overhyping it. It isn’t anything new or particularly exciting, just polished generic British radio pop. Is going to be very, very dependent on how this is performed live. I’d argue that Mae last year had a stronger song but the performance and staging fell flat.

It's actually not that bad. People saying its boring and stuff are bored with their own lives. The song will do well, especially if he sings it well live and he can sing live.

People love to moan about minor problems. I love this entry. Olly isn't trying to copy Chachacha (Finland 2023) like so many entries are trying to do this year. He is just being himself with a feel-good song that reminds me of a Steps hit, which is by no means a bad thing as I adored Steps during much of my teenage years!

🫤 Meh… next… sorry olly ❤ I love you, but this ain’t esc winner material. Everything this song brings (90ies vibe, tech-chorus, melodies), is done in a more stand-out-way by other entries. So even this song is very good, it‘s too generic in context of the esc.

OMFG....... What an absolute anti climax... Total rubbish...... Unbelievable bad in every way.. It's even worst than last year's entry!!!!! 😩😩.. I truly believe that the UK doesn't care anymore. When I was a youngest growing up there the UK it was always above everyone on the music front (not directly speaking about ESC)... Great singers... Great groups... Great bands.. Great songwriters.. Then select this drival????!!! The singer and the song is probably the worst entry this year..... And there a more than a few dreadful entries... They deserve nil point for this junk.
