Crazy the amount of traction this mix is getting, given it was initially a DJ set recorded to tape and sold in limited numbers in the UK. I've listened to it many times over the past year while working, relaxing, partying - it suits almost any setting. Thank you blade for uploading everything in HQ!

Unsure if mentioned in the comments yet but the cover image struck me immediately as familiar - it appears to be an interpretation of Salvador Dali's "Geopoliticus Child Watching the Birth of the New Man." I'm completely new to this genre outside of hearing DnB/Jungle in old video games, super glad to have stumbled on what seems to be a classic mix!

its interesting how this album has blown up in the last year or so. When I first heard this about a year and a half ago it had around 30k views on youtube and now the original video has 1.2 million. Great album, I've probably listened to it over 100 times in the last 18 months.

A compilation is a more accurate term here (as its not beat mixed into a DJ set) and the rights to sell this would have been obtained from multiple publishing companies representing the various labels involved such as Good looking records, Creative source, R&S records and others.

I've worked towards the same thing. I've got everything in FLAC except for tracks 7 (192 mp3), 15 (256 mp3) and 18 (opus rip from YT). I'm still missing tracks 6 :/ once done I'll probably give a shot at recreating the mix

I don't get the point of this, honestly. I appreciate some effort has gone into posting this, but why? Why wouldn't you want to hear the tracks mixed by Bailey? The description is strange, describing how in the original the tracks are at a "single tempo". Do you know how DJ's mix records? I high quality recording of the original tape would be much better

Nice 🙏🏽 This make me feel like late 90s , when I was in HS , I’d go to mall and search for anything “electronic dance” or DJ related in record store . I have these Tapes and CDs that said things like “Ultimate Drum and Bass” . No clue what’s on it but I’d take a gamble anyways … Context , I lived in USA , no computer yet . Only source for DJ music info was URB magazine or Future Music Magazine in Barnes & Noble

Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!! Bailey was one of the first dnb djs I switched to the dark side for.. always will be a house head.. I carried around his tape until at least 2003.. I want to say my love of tribal house made my transition into dnb much smoother..
