I know how she feels like. My mother was always walking out on me , one time she left me in Kentucky with her boy friends pairents.he came and got me after about s year .Hope she is going to go far in life I'm sure she will with the help and love of her dad Sending them much love and prayers

Her pain is so real. My mom left when I was 11 I’m now 29 and it still hurts, that’s exactly what happens when you try and talk about it. You think you’re okay and then you just start crying. It’s like your body remembers the pain and your brain is like why are you crying.

This song hits home!! My mom left when i was a baby and was never in my life. I found out a while back that she died of alcohol poisoning in her early 40s, so it makes understanding easier for me. I’m sure she had a lifetime of addiction. I just recently found it in my heart to forgive her, not for her but for me. I am finally at peace. This song is amazing. It reminds me of Kelly Clarkson’s song Piece by piece

As a child who grew up with a mom who had her 6 kids taken away by CAS due to drug/alcohol abuse and addiction. I spent my entire childhood thinking she would come back. Would sit in my room thinking of all the scenarios of when she got clean. Reality is that some people have demons so great inside that they just can't get out and away. My mom loved us...I know she did. But she suffered from depression, anxiety and used things to try and escape. She passed in 2020 and I never got my happy ending that she would get clean but 2 weeks before passed she reached out. Told me how proud she was of me and the person and mother I was. I am not angry with her. I don't understand why...and I never will. But I'm not angry. I have used this to become a wonderful.mother and wife in my own life. And I will continue to make her proud. Love you mom. Hope you are at peace❤

My mother left me to move across the world to USA she left her whole family her life in Australia with the sound of money filling the guys pockets as our dads emptied. She left for money got remarried all within a lie, saying at she was at her parents house in Queensland but no she was half was across the world getting married with nobody knowing where she was. I know and can feel the pain this girl is going through and it is the hardest hardest thing I have and still felt. She’s a lot stronger then I was when my mother left. I did not leave the house or my room I refused to go to school for 6-8months. I don’t know this girl but I’m proud of her❤️❤️

Although I know this must be such a tragedy for children, I could not judge that mother without knowing what she herself was going through. I feel sorry for her as he is obviously in pain. It's good that she found some sort of outlet for all the emotions and that is obviously how she feels and has the rigth to do do. My story is different but I feel the pain and this song because my mother left mental and physical and sexual pain by her and her boyfriend from 6 1/2 years old to 10 1/2 years old when I finally got taken away I'm almost 27 years old and l lost my dad in January 2017 and lost my mom March 4 2024 so I forgave my momma and my dad because he didn't fight for so I had resentment but before they passed away I was on good terms with them both
