LoganMartinsChannel I understand what you're saying but its like saying all rock music sounds the same and you can apply this to a lot of genres.

Rap Beats by Melori But Rock/punk etc doesn't use the same samples lol. Every Mustard song has that same "HEY HEY" vocal sample, and the same triplet 808 snares.

Skyler Felix Rock isn't a artist/producer. He is. You sholdn't compare DJ Mustard with a genre of music. He has his sound as a lot of producers have and you might not like it but there are people who appreciate it.

I'd like to say something about FL Studios. It doesn't change the sound in any way and most DAW's don't either unless they are doing something "special" with a built in saturator on the master bus which professional DAW's don't. The unique thing about FL studios is the extremely fast work flow and being able to do almost anything even make your own plug in's without code with a plug in called flowstone (which you have to pay for), The only thing it doesn't do is support certain plug in formats that are Not in the vst family and DX. I use FL 12 and for me the work flow is better then anything i tried.

First off I love this show unfortunately I'm working towards new gear because my computer took a crap on me but I still watch the show every week like clock work but second I think you guys should try to reach out to 9th wonder. Thanks again guys for the show, fan for life

Alright so first and foremost big Dj mustard fan I saw the title on this video and instantly hit play and added to my favorites, but I feel I did that a lil prematurely. I don't think mustard dropped any useful knowledge on this avoided any question that really pertain to his process and just said generic things like my my may or something. Maybe he didn't want to give away his secrets but give. The point of this show I was really let down by this
@AGObeats889 жыл бұрын
+Dreamslide Productions he didn't "give away" anything because he doesn't know anything! he even half admitted somewhere in the vid about other producers playing out basslines, keys, etc etc out for him ... all the guy does is add his signature "mussuh on da beat hoe!!" ... seriously the guy knows nothing about music or music theory , it's semi-embarrasing his engineer stole the show the entire last half of this video
@chesslegends12118 жыл бұрын
do you think having a weak knowledge about the music theory,scaling and figuring out exact keys for vocals can effect producer 's career ? or just make the beat and let the rnb / hip hop singer to sing on the beat

I don´t see any reason why some people are hating on this episode at least Mustard is winning. It´s that simple don´t like don´t watch! The time you´re using to post all em STUPID ass comments could have been used towards someone you love etc´family, relationships, Studio or whatever. NOTE: None of us is paying for this show so the least we can do is to be thankful :)

Right...why is that. As a producer myself I could never expect to have clients that want to actually work with me with a personality like that. So I guess thats why most of his songs are done via just sending out beats.

It's not the hardest thing ever, but mustard has a good style, and people like his music, And people should respect that rather than hate on him because he doesn't have a ton of complexities in his songs.
