One thing I've noticed with sonny digital. He's one of the most vibrant authentic people we have in the audio world. He might not be the most articulate , but you just he t the sense that he knows what he's doing and doesn't "stress" out over little things that us engineers, mixers and producers are notorious for. Sometimes, you just gotta have fun and let it flow.

@groalerable9 жыл бұрын
***** do u think clams casino can tell you his favorite snare or synth or anything like that? There's not much technical to what he does. He has good beats, but there wouldn't be much to say. "oh so you put a pretty sample on drums?....that's nice"
@groalerable9 жыл бұрын
***** maybe more complex if the only other hip hop you listen to is boom bap? I've been listening to clams casino's beats since 2011. They sound good, but not like he had to be an engineering genius to make them. Not saying mustard is a genius either, he's pretty hit or miss. But sonny digital is they type of musician that seems to be more the speed for this kind of show.

Great shows guys : really enjoying the conversations: and I am really digging the new studio : but what is not going down well with me as I sit and watching the show : which comes off as a short fall in the studio set design : Man - I hate looking at flat screen television that sit on a stand and place top of the brown box in front of the hosting deck : there's to much dimensions going - it would flow better if it were bracketed into the space of the deck it seriously detracts from the curves and look of the desk ; Just thought I would throw this into the ring

I get distracted easy since i have ADHD ,but did anyone notice how many times Sonny said like. I was trying to listen,but it's hard to count and listen at the same time. I'm not trying to poke fun, it's easier to pay attention at least for some who get distracted easy if he extended his vocabulary when talking instead of minimizing it to the same words to get to the point faster. Feel like missing information was replaced by the word like. Just my opinion
@HSSLNG9 жыл бұрын
blood lord He's merely a product of his environment. Definitely something you want to work on when you're put in a situation like this, doing interviews that people need to understand. They just don't always get around to it.
@SciFlyyTV9 жыл бұрын
blood lord your right, had to cut it off halfway. Cringe-worthy
@bloodlord19899 жыл бұрын
SciFlyyTV I watched through it all there is some good information which is more like a reminder to us all to keep doing what we love and don't do what we don't feel true to. Thats what i mostly got out of this. I did feel he left out alot of details in information. For example some artists feel the need to keep secrets so others don't steal their style,but in reality if you didn't keep it a secret and told others not everyone will do it, understand it, will even get the same exact results, or they will just do something different with it. I got an impression he might be secretive when it came to batters box on kicks and his response. Don't know if that is true since I don't know him personally, but he could have opened up a little more in my opinion. Still liked the video regardless since he took the time to do this interview and share at least something.

The underlying meaning he is hinting at is that a lot of "producers" out now are pretty much doing what Sonny is. - The guy pretty much admitted to using the talents of other individuals and slapping his "brand" name on it, and releasing it under Sonny Digital. - His "label" is so sketchy that he himself has not signed to it, but he's trying to get it "set up" ?!??!?! - The questions from Dave were essentially a joke and Sonny was not getting it, Reverb Nation is a website guys, not a plugin. There is so much musical ignorance in this time, not lack of art, just the lack of actually learning the mechanics and basic fundamentals.
