Good Job Angelo!!! Ive been DJing for over 25 years now...I started with Gemini 10's...I like how all the comment section is positive and helpful no matter what level anyone is on!!! We used to beat juggle in the day just to keep an MC going or catch a nice loop in the middle of an R&B or dance record...it was out of pure necessity. Good Job!!!

Anyone who says that turntables aren't a music instrument, needs to see this video. It's like playing the drums, but harder. I mean, anyone can be the backbeat drummer, but to be a real drummer, you need to think outside the box, and that's exactly what this is. It's basically creating a drumbeat, but without pedals and sticks, which again, MAKES IT HARDER!

@adob0streak a quarter beat loop is the same as a 1 beat loop, but i get what you mean. The next fastest loop after a half beat loop would be a 1/16th beat loop which i think the only way it could be done is if you use your nose on the crossfader instead of switching hands. I think i saw DJ Dummy pull that off once.
@KeveyKev114 жыл бұрын
Once again, another great tutorial... Quick question should you mark time coded records seeing you use the same records for different songs?
@DjYungNas2 жыл бұрын
This by far the hardest concept ever. I been practicing this for so long and still cant get it. Imma keep trying though. Im currently trying this with one in a million by - Jay z. I dont know if thats a good beat for this technique but any other beats I should try this with??
@DJAngeloUK2 жыл бұрын
The technique is the same for any beat

Hello Angelo, love your videos. Now this might be a silly question but I was just wondering why in your first scratching tutorial you placed the sticker at the 2 o’clock position (pointing to the needle) but in this beat juggling tutorial you put the sticker at 12 o’clock? I put all mine to the needle. It would confuse me if all my records weren’t marked the same!

I love your videos, you've been a great mentor to get me started in my DJ career. How do you like your IQ2? I'm looking to get a USB mixer and thinking either the IQ2 or a Traktor mixer.

Got myself 2 superseal records and had a go. 8 beats is easy. People will get that really fast. 4 not to bad either. But the rest is fucking hard to get. Back spinning with my left hand on the record is strange as I scratch only with right on record. Will have to learn to be a lefty. Anything is possible with enough pratice.
