When you’re in Timelapse in the latest firmware, there is a crescent moon icon at the top left. Looks like the iPhone do not disturb icon. When you tap it it, what does it do?

Hey! I think that is the screen timeout function they added to the timelapse function directly. With I use it, when enabled the screen goes black after 15 seconds and continues the capture, when disabled it keeps the screen on while recording the timelapse (If you want to see the recording time difference during timelapses with the screen on or off I tested that in a different video if you are interested (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZmkiH-knsl7kKM&ab_channel=RamonvanBedaf).

I recently bought Dji action 2 but I found the power button on camera unit is hard when compared to button on power module… just want to know if it is just my unit or common in all Dji action 2…

Hey, with me they feel about the same, it's not much but there is also the same travel and "click" feeling.

@@RamonvanBedaf13 in my camera unit I am not hearing that click sound as I hear when I click the power module button… it’s working fine without issues but it’s hard definitely…

Can I do a 8hr time lapse with the power connected to keep it charging while I record?

Yes this should be possible! Just make sure you have plenty of free storage and that the camera doesn't overheat (it gets hot charging and recording at the same time, you need some sort of airflow and probably keep it out of direct sunlight). In my timelapse test video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZmkiH-knsl7kKM&ab_channel=RamonvanBedaf) I only tested up to 7 hours with one powerbank charge, but I could have cycled the powerbank and continued recording if I wanted to.

@@RamonvanBedaf13 thanks for responding. I haven't bought one yet but if I do, i guess I should get a powerbank with it to record for 7hrs or more. fingers crossed it can record hi quality for paintings on a canvas 🙏
